Routine Care / Chiropody
Our routine Podiatry appointments address the everyday foot problems that can significantly affect your comfort and quality of life. From corns, calluses and cracked heels to thickened nails, our Podiatrists provide expert care to keep your feet healthy.
Nail Surgery
For persistent or severely ingrown toenails, nail surgery offers a long-term solution. Performed under local anaesthetic, we remove the problematic portion of the nail and, where appropriate, apply a chemical treatment to prevent regrowth. The procedure is quick, highly effective, and carried out with your comfort as our priority.
Biomechanics / Musculoskeletal Assessment
Our biomechanical assessments examine how the structures of your foot, ankle, and lower limb work together during movement. This helps us identify the root cause of pain conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, flat feet, and knee pain, enabling a targeted and effective treatment plan.
Gait Analysis

DolorClast® Radial Shockwave Therapy
Using the industry-leading Swiss DolorClast® system, we offer radial shockwave therapy for chronic soft tissue conditions including plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy. This non-invasive treatment delivers targeted shockwave energy to promote tissue healing and reduce pain, often where other treatments have fallen short.
Steroid Injections
Corticosteroid injections provide effective, targeted relief for inflammatory foot and ankle conditions such as plantar fasciitis, bursitis, arthritis and Morton’s neuroma. Administered by our experienced Podiatrists, they can offer pain reduction and improved function, often as part of a wider treatment plan.
Orthoses — Bespoke and Off the Shelf
We provide both custom-made and prefabricated orthoses to correct biomechanical imbalances, redistribute pressure, and relieve pain. Bespoke orthoses are individually prescribed from a detailed assessment and a cast of your feet, whilst our off-the-shelf options offer a cost-effective solution for many common conditions.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change; however, due to the high demand for appointments, it is not always possible to reallocate short-notice cancellations.
We kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in need of care.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend, may incur a cancellation fee equal to the full appointment cost.
Any missed or late-cancelled appointments must be settled in full prior to booking any future appointments.
All cancellation fees are payable directly to Footnote Clinic.
